About

Music

Stefano Venkatachari began studying classical piano at the age of five, training for 15 years with several professors (Prof. Gheza Duma, Mme. Hazarbassanova, and Sir Kukorelly), and completing both practical and theoretical studies at the Geneva Conservatoire. He attended masterclasses with M. Poernaru, Sir Kukorelly, and M. Bascura, and performed as a soloist as well as with orchestra. He composed classical and electronic music and furthered studies in sound earning a Masters at City University in London. A skilled improviser on both piano and bass.

After a 15-year release hiatus — during which he lost all his instruments and studio equipment, eventually unable to afford storage – Stefano continued composing with minimal means, more recently from his car. Now, he’s returning with a series of new releases blending jazz, funk, bossa nova, and more.

Writing

Stefano writes to articulate perception — not to escape reality, but to observe it more closely. His published work spans poetry and philosophical reflection, often circling themes such as the nature of language, identity, impermanence, and consciousness. His poetry is rhythmical and introspective, grounded in clarity and form, while his philosophical texts aim to deconstruct the frameworks through which we define ourselves and the world around us. All his writing remains rooted in lived experience and direct insight — never fictional, always essential.

Other

In addition to music and writing, Stefano has pursued several creative disciplines. In fashion, he designed and created every garment he wore during his early twenties — from concept sketching and fabric selection to hand-cutting patterns and sewing each piece to completion. He also worked professionally in visual communication, serving as both designer and creative director across a wide range of print and digital projects. His multidisciplinary approach continues to inform his aesthetics and process across all mediums.
